These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by LONDON MARBLE STONE PRO LTD (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) to any individual or business (“the Customer”, “you”, or “your”).

By requesting a quotation, confirming a booking, or using our website www.londonmarblestone.co.uk, you confirm that you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Scope of Services

LONDON MARBLE STONE PRO LTD provides specialist services including but not limited to:

  • Marble restoration

  • Stone polishing

  • Stone cleaning

  • Floor grinding

  • Surface sealing

  • Scratch removal

  • Etch and stain treatment

All services are carried out using professional equipment and industry-standard techniques.

Descriptions on the website or in marketing materials are provided for general information only and do not constitute a guarantee of results.

Natural stone is a variable material and results may vary depending on:

  • Stone condition

  • Previous treatments

  • Deep scratches

  • Lippage

  • Structural damage

  • Staining

  • Material quality

The Company will perform services with reasonable care and professional skill but does not guarantee a specific finish or result.

3. Quotations and Orders

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

A booking becomes confirmed only after:

  • Written acceptance
    and

  • Payment of the required deposit

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking.

 

4. Appointments and Scheduling

We aim to complete all work within the estimated timeframe; however:

  • Completion dates are estimates only

  • Delays may occur due to site conditions or technical factors

  • Delays do not constitute a breach of contract

If the Customer causes delays or prevents access:

  • Additional charges may apply

  • Deposits may be retained

  • A daily rate may be charged if applicable

5. Prices and Payment Terms

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Prices are exclusive of VAT

  • VAT will be added where applicable

Payment structure:

  • Deposit: typically 30% to secure the booking

  • Mid-stage payment: 30% upon commencement

  • Final balance: payable upon completion

Invoices must be paid within 7 days unless otherwise agreed.

Late payments may incur:

  • Interest at 8% above Bank of England Base Rate

  • Recovery costs

  • Administrative charges

6. Deposits and Cancellation

Deposits secure time allocation and preparation costs.

Deposits are:

  • Non-refundable once work is scheduled

  • Partially refundable only if cancelled with sufficient notice

If cancellation occurs close to the scheduled date:

  • The deposit may be retained in full.

This does not affect statutory consumer rights.

7. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area

  • Ensure electricity and water are available

  • Remove furniture and personal belongings

  • Protect sensitive items

  • Ensure surfaces are suitable for treatment

We are not responsible for:

  • Items not removed

  • Poor sealing

  • Existing structural weaknesses

  • Pre-existing damage

The Customer confirms they are:

  • The property owner
    or

  • Authorised to approve the work.

8. Surface Conditions

Stone restoration involves mechanical and chemical processes.

The Customer understands that:

  • Deep scratches may remain

  • Some stains may not be removable

  • Lippage may remain

  • Surface variations are normal

  • Natural stone may react unpredictably

No guarantee is given regarding:

  • Colour matching

  • Stain removal

  • Uniform finish

  • Gloss level

9. Chemical Products

Professional cleaning chemicals may be used.

The Customer agrees to:

  • Keep children and pets away

  • Follow safety instructions

  • Avoid contact with treated areas until safe

The Company accepts no responsibility for misuse after completion.

10. Damage and Liability

We take reasonable care when performing services.

However we are not responsible for:

  • Existing defects

  • Loose tiles

  • Weak substrates

  • Structural movement

  • Hidden cracks

  • Previous repairs

We are not liable for:

  • Natural wear and tear

  • Improper maintenance

  • Third-party work

  • Environmental factors

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud

  • Legal rights that cannot be excluded

Subject to this:

Total liability shall not exceed:

The total amount paid for the services

We shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of business

  • Loss of income

  • Loss of profit

  • Indirect damages

  • Consequential damages
